ABA THERAPY
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach to treating children with autism and other related disorders. ABA targets socially significant skill acquisition while simultaneously decreasing problem behaviors. We work on various skills such as increasing communication, daily living routines, toleration, cooperation, compliance training, sleep, social interactions, and more. The goals are highly individualized for each child based on a comprehensive assessment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Parent/Family Coaching
Parent and caregiver training uses the evidence-based principles of ABA to transfer knowledge and skills to caregivers. Through role-playing, modeling, and direct teaching, BCBA's will coach caregivers and give them the tools they need to be successful with their child. Parent training is individualized for each family and can focus on areas such as problem behavior reduction, compliance, sleep, building routines, sibling interactions, and so much more. All parent training is delivered by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
School-Based Consultation
We offer a variety of school-based services through consultation and training. Our services can include working with an individual student, a classroom, or an entire school. A BCBA delivers all school-based consultation and training services and can conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), develop school-wide behavior programs, and much more. We are available for staff professional development and trainings that are tailored to your needs as the school community.
Advocacy & IEP services
The special education system can be overwhelming and challenging to navigate. However, our highly-trained BCBAs and certified special education teachers can guide you through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, review documents, attend IEP meetings, and advocate for the services your child is entitled to.
